Description
This large vertical landscape watercolor on paper depicts a scene in a modern East Asian style. The composition features mist-shrouded, blue-grey mountain peaks in the upper portion, overlooking a wide body of water dotted with several stylized sailboats. In the lower foreground, a rocky shoreline is visible with a small red-roofed pavilion nestled among dark green trees, while two figures in small boats are positioned in the water nearby. The artist has utilized fluid watercolor washes for the mountains and water, contrasted with more detailed brushwork in the foliage and figures.
