Helmut Friedrich Schäffenacker Mid-Century Modern Ceramic Relief Wall Plaque, Measures 10 by 4 inches by 1 inches thick, This mid-century modern stoneware ceramic relief wall plaque is by German artist Helmut Friedrich Schäffenacker. The rectangular piece depicts an abstract figurative scene in high relief, featuring a white-glazed nude female figure alongside an elongated second figure finished in a mottled ochre-yellow glaze. The figures are set against a backdrop of dark brown, black, and rust-colored glazes with varying textures, including some cratered areas. The lower right corner bears an incised mark featuring a stylized signature and the date 64.
